Good ol’ Tech Bar Times

With it being my last semester here as a student at SNC, I feel like it is only fair to reminisce on old memories from here at the Tech Bar.

To give some background, in my first two years here at ITS, I was a Digital Research Fellow meaning I worked independently from the other employees. However, there are still plenty of memories that have come about. First I will start with the memories of my peers 🙂

Sarah: I think my favorite memory with Sarah is how we would talk about her artwork and figure out ways to improve her pieces. Just seeing how creative she is amazed me every day. I am so grateful that I got to spend time helping her so she can become successful. You all should see the coffee grounds that she branded… they were AMAZING!

Kat: One memory that I have is when we were recording a promotional video for the Tech Bar in the theme of the office. When I tell you Kat took her role seriously! It was hilarious watching Kat show snippets of her personality through her character. 3D printing is her JAM and I love watching what she creates. P.S. watch the Tech Bar (The Office themed) video and you will see what I am talking about.

Jack: My favorite memory with Jack was when we were putting up Christmas decorations. Every time there was something that no one could reach, we would just look at Jack haha. Also, all of his blog posts were great. The way he edited the cat photos and kept up with posting is great. Also, I can’t wait for the day that Girpco becomes the trendiest brand in America.

Mileana: Okay, this girl and I have soooo many memories. However, I think the one that stands out the most was trying to figure out if Molly was pregnant or not. The Tech Bar had a party for Holloween and I had an assumption that Molly was pregnant but didn’t know for sure. Therefore, I texted Mileana to see if I was crazy or not only to reveal she was wondering the same thing. Within the next weeks, we were scheming trying to get a definitive answer out of Molly. Mileana and I had a plan at one point where Mileana was going to ask her to go out for drinks with her for Mileana’s birthday and see if she said no. A few weeks went by, and with the combination of scheming and eavesdropping, we had a hypothesis that was backed with enough evidence to say she was. WE WERE CORRECT! When Molly announced it to everyone I was so excited because it felt good to finally have that answer! Plus Molly is going to be such a great mom!
